Earn money from your stuff!

How many us have items gathering dust in our cupboards and closets that we need, but rarely use?
For example, I have a drill that I haven't used in two years in a closet. I also have two airbeds, a belt sander, a rucksack, two fancy dress costumes, two large suitcases, two smartphones, a netbook, and heaps of other stuff.Â
If I was to rent all of this stuff out on www.rentmystuff.ie, I could be making a nice bit of cash instead of leaving it to gather dust.
There are many things that we have that we could rent out to others and earn money.
Here is a few ideas to help you get started:
The parking space in front of your house, or the one in your apartment building that you don't use.
Your printer (I have been caught out so many times needing to print airline boarding passes at short notice).
A garage, garden shed, or barn that could be used for storage.
Any power tools or ladders.Â
Your lawnmower.
A baby's pram or buggy that might not be needed for another year or two.
That spare room in your house.
Your bicycle.
Your car, or a trailer.
Your broadband via Wifi.
Your garden or a piece of land as an allotment.
Maybe you could rent your house, or church, or school as a film set, or how about something unique that could be used as a set prop.
You may even consider starting your own rental business on www.rentmystuff.ie.
